Freight - The Movie
Category:
Sorry for the lack of updates as of late, but the good thing about these extended AWOLs is that it usually means I'm working on something big behind the scenes. In this case, it's the long overdue (awaited?) documentary from my freight train trip across Canada.
The film clocks in at 64 minutes, but I'm trying to pare it down to 30 minutes for the festival circuit. It's a bit like asking someone to cut off two of their own limbs though. What stays and what goes?
Those in the Vancouver area, I'll be having a screening/release party at some point mid October. Stay tuned.

Know the feeling with regards to trimming it down. this is where it's often easier to have someone else do it. I've got a similar task with the book that I'm working on - much easier to get an editor to do it. Alternatively, if you can bare it, ask a load of people for feedback and be ruthless in implementing the bits they say to take out. Not fun.
Let me know the date of the screening party, will see if I can pop down...
Nice! That's be awesome. Ya,
Nice! That's be awesome. Ya, the only people I've shown it to so far is my girlfriend and my parents -- they loved it, but may have the SLIGHTEST bias. A room full of critics would be ideal.
Can't wait to see it. Sounds
Can't wait to see it. Sounds like a grand adventure. If your looking for feedback I could definitely provide some.
