Ooh, I like the mascot! Bears are always awesome, despite what Stephen Colbert says, and somehow you managed to use a rainbow without me thinking of Lisa Frank. Kudos!

Lisa Frank? Wow, now that's an obscure reference!

I actually had no idea who that was until I read this comic - http://drmcninja.com/page.php?pageNum=14&issue=15 - and subsequently did a google search. The great thing about the internet is when you're being esoteric google can always help clue you in, that and youTube.

Wow, sweet photoshopskills, if only you could make a picture of a grizzly bear with glasses and braces, I'd be most obliged Laughing out loud (my quiz-team is called "the Quizzly Bears", we're going to make T-shirts, but my PS-skills are non-existent Sticking out tongue ).

But, on a serious note, when are you going to tell us about train-expedition? I'm dying to read your story.

The short of it: I'm getting to it. Can't make any promises of when. I gotta do things proper Smiling

The long of it: Right now I'm sitting on a huge pile of unedited footage, from all sorts of different events: last buildering comp, summer motorbiking madness, a wedding, etc. I need to edit all (or most) of that stuff before I tackle the huge project of transferring the 16 hours of train footage to disk and begin editing that. For buildering.net, I'll take screen grabs from it, write a story, and that'll be that. Then, if it is good enough, I'll be releasing a full fledged documentary for the film festival circuit. I've got an editor friend in hollywood who has graciously offered to work on the editing n' such.

Luckily the weather is taking a turn for the worse, which means more down time. I spent all of last weekend editing. Yay me. There really aren't enough hours in the day.
