Two words you cannot say these days: gay and retarded. As in that's "gay", or that's "retarded". You can call something "stupid", but you can't call it "retarded". Aren't they the same thing? No, of course they aren't - retarded means to be much, much dumber than stupid.
Gay on the other hand, well I can see why people get upset with the misusage of this word. If you call something that is lame or stupid "gay", that's like saying that the very act of gayness is stupid. It's like saying that all gays are retarded, which is a little unfair. So yeah, I can see people's beef with misuse of the gay word. But retarded? Nope, it's a perfectly correct and accurate adjective. Let's call a spade a spade people.
