It has come to our attention that you have been conducting "buildering" contests and activities on the UBC campus. Please be advised that the University considers these activities unacceptable and does not condone them in any way. You and others are not permitted to climb on University structures. Persons found doing so could face University discipline or legal proceedings. Further, please be advised that the University will accept no responsibility for any injury or loss caused by such activities.

Dear Mr. Lai,

If you had taken the time to read the buildering.net disclaimer, you'd realize that your accusations are completely unfounded:

Warning: Buildering, i.e. climbing buildings, is very dangerous. Buildering always results in serious injury and horrible death. All buildings are on private property, therefore you will be caught, charged with trespassing, and spend years in jail. You would have to be a complete moron to builder.

Buildering.net does not promote buildering. Buildering.net promotes cyber-buildering. All media contained within this website is purely fictional. All photos have been doctored to give the appearance of buildering, but are in fact cyber-buildering creations. I know it's amazing, but we here at buildering.net are some badass photoshoppers.

Or perhaps you did read the disclaimer, and that is why you put quotes around "buildering"? Ahhh, you sneaky devil you...you're in on the joke. Sure we conduct "buildering" contests on campus, but not buildering contests. Wow, you really had me going there. Nicely played sir.
